Fall is my favorite season, hands down. I love the weather, the gorgeous colors on the tree leaves, and just the excitement that comes with looking forward to the holiday season.

And the decorating. I mean, really, if you wonder when is the right time to decorate your home for fall, is it ever too soon to start decorating for fall ??

Okay, so if you are wondering when you start decorating for fall for real, I say start bringing out your favorite fall decor in late August early, or early September.

I usually get out my favorite Autumn decor in late August!😍

And then, there is fall baking.

Like, fall isn't really here until there is a batch of warm pumpkin oatmeal cookies on the counter. And the house is smelling all spicy and yummy.

But back to the decorating. I love, love, love getting our house decorated for Autumn!

Since I am also all about saving money and making extra money for Christmas,  I mostly stick to DIY fall decor with things around the house like baskets of pine cones, pumpkin-scented candles, and cozy blankets.

But I also love creating new things for fall to make the house extra cozy.

If you are wondering how to make your home fall cozy on a budget, or want to cozy up your home without spending any money, these easy budget-friendly DIY Fall decorating ideas should give you extra home decorating inspiration this season.

Chances are that you may already have things around the house to make some of the fall crafts, and if not, Dollar Tree stores may have most of the things needed for these DIY ideas.

Or just use these ideas as inspiration to create similar decor ideas using things you do have at home already.
