How You Can Still Save Money For Christmas ( Simple Weekly Savings Plan)

Are you are starting to panic because it is September and you haven't followed through on your saving for Christmas plan and are now wondering how you are going to buy the hot Christmas toys  kids want this year?

Take a deep breath and relax. As of today, there are 104 days until Christmas. And this simple saving for Christmas chart can still help you save money for Christmas. Check out my post on easy ways to make extra money every month if you are looking for ways to make money for Christmas!

(There is also a second savings chart a little farther down in this post that shows how to save $1000 by Christmas, or more, as well - be sure to check it out before you leave!)

If you follow the savings plan below to start saving money today, you will have an extra $364 to spend for the holidays. Not a lot of money, I know, but every little bit helps.

As of today, there are 15 weeks until Christmas, but in order to have time to finish your shopping, I am going to use December 15 as the end date for this weekly savings plan. There are 13 weeks until December 15.

Which means you can work on building up a little extra Christmas cash and still get your holiday shopping done on time, without building up credit card debt.

That's it. It really is one of the easiest ways to save money that I have come across.

I like this weekly savings plan - it is easy to follow and not overwhelming. And finding a savings budget you can stick with is half the battle. You can use this idea throughout the year as well, or even when you just need to raise a certain amount of money within a specific time period.

If you want to save $1000 by Christmas, then use the planner below to figure out how much you can see yourself saving each day. The savings chart shows how much those saved dollars will add up to by December 15, 2017 (94 days or about 13 weeks.)

The most important thing though is to start saving for Christmas today (if you haven't already started.)

Any amount you can save now, just start. The more money you begin to save, the better you will feel. Chances are, you will think of other creative ways to have more money left at the end of every day or week to add to your holiday savings.
