I consider myself to be somewhat of a 'chair' potato, sad but true, so I can really relate when one member said, "So today I am taking a step forward to get off the couch and become healthy. I am overweight, underpaid and not so full of energy! I know if I think I can, I CAN! AND I WILL!" That determination alone makes me feel more motivated to get up from the couch (or in my case, the computer chair I inhabit most of my day!) and start improving my lifestyle.
Exercising is great and we all know the heath dangers associated with not being active. But for me, I need lots (and lots!) of support to continue exercising for more than just a day or two, kwim? CafeWell is free to join, and offers so much that it really makes perfect sense to take this opportunity to revamp my lifestyle and make it healthier. I have kids, and I really want them to grow up as health-conscious as possible. So what better way to encourage that than by taking action myself.
